The 2nd 45MW Wind-farm project of Huadian Ningxia Ningdong Yangjiayao
Description: The objective of Huadian Ningxia Ningdong Yangjiayao 45MW Wind-farm Project is the generation of zero carbon emission electricity from a renewable source (i.e. wind) and the displacement of the same amount of electricity from the North-West Power Grid (NWPG) that is mainly dominated by coal-fired power plants. The baseline scenario of the project is Equivalent annual electricity supplied by Northwest China Power Grid, which is the continued operation of the existing power plants and the addition of new generation sources on the Northwest China Power Grid to meet the electricity demand. The project involves constructing a wind-farm by using wind resources for power generation. The emission reductions of the project are equal to the baseline emissions since the project emissions and leakage is zero respectively.
