Hydro Power Upgrade

Description: The project activity increases the energy generation of an existing hydro power plant with reservoir without changing the volume of the reservoir. The project comprises the installation of new Kaplan turbines with a nominal capacity of 49.5 MW. The project activity has an important impact on the environmental sustainability by reducing local air pollution and decreasing the GHG emissions.
